Komba Hari Restaurant at Shumba Valley Lodge offers guests a wide variety of tantalising dishes that suit every palate. With the option of a buffet-style lunch and dinner as well as an a la carté menu, every guest’s taste buds are satisfied. Choose between the tangy Lemon and Pepper Smoked Scottish Salmon or Halloumi and Crumbed Mushroom Salad to start, the flavourful Slow Cooked Lamb Shank or the juicy Beef Medallions as your main course and the mouth-watering Calibaute Chocolate Mousse or South African and International Cheeseboard to end off a scrumptious meal. Breakfast is served as a buffet inside Komba Hari or on the outside terrace, overlooking the sparkling blue pool. There is also a Canapés and Bowl Food menu option, with bite-sized finger foods such as Chicken Mandalay Skewers and Mini Milk Tarts.


Open on Monday to Sunday from 10:00am to 11:00pm, the Lion’s Den Bar at Shumba Valley Lodge provides guests with a warm and welcoming environment to enjoy a refreshing cocktail or drink of their choice. With multiple big screen televisions, any and all sports fans can enjoy the game, while sipping on an ice-cold beer! A nearby lounge offers guests an area to relax and wind-down after a conference or meetings, or an eventful day with their family and friends.
